In the Black Shadow Kingdom, a land abundant with gems and minerals, a young craftsman named Suwol has cherished a quiet love for Seohwa, the head of a merchant guild, since childhood. At last, he gathers the courage to confess the feelings he has long kept hidden.

But during a trade journey, Seohwa’s caravan is attacked by the bandit leader Gwisoo, leaving the guild in ruins and burdened with heavy losses.

To save the guild from collapse, Seohwa receives a marriage proposal from Jiil, a trading partner offering aid in exchange for her hand.

Refusing to let her dreams be destroyed or see her forced into marriage, Suwol decides to face Gwisoo, defeat him, and recover the stolen goods.
