In a facility disguised as an orphanage, children with unnatural abilities are imprisoned, subjected to cruel experiments in the name of "progress." Saki, a girl who speaks to the horrors lurking beyond reality, and Kurayami, a boy deemed a failure, have only ever known pain within those sterile walls. But when the facility pushes too far, something within Kurayami awakens something monstrous. In a storm of blood and shadows, the two escape, but freedom comes at a cost. Hunted by the very people who made them, haunted by the darkness within, they must fight to survive in a world that fears what they’ve become. Are they victims? Experiments?
