In order to save her father's company from bankruptcy, Maria must marry a man whom she's never met before. She's not one to let that get her down, though; She's eager to give back in any way she can to her parents, who have raised her without wanting for anything. However, when her friend teasingly says, "If you can't satisfy him in bed with your limited knowledge and skillset, he might just cheat on you and dump you afterward!", she panics fearing that the engagement may be called off if she doesn't learn how to satisfy a man. Thus she finds herself attending a mixer for singles in the area and once there, fatefully encounters an attractive man who saves her from unwanted advances.
